Fishing Report for July 28 (Islamorada, FL)

Today we had a different type of trip where we were testing out some new lures. The fish were a little spread out today, but the ‪#‎mahi‬ that we did catch loved the lures! Wind was calm and were seas calm

Fishing Report for July 26 (Islamorada, FL)

We had a great day today even though the conditions were not favorable. We had more West wind, but we were still able to find some decent fishing! We caught a handful of #Mahi Mahi on the way out and then we came across a Cuban high flyer with a big net tied to it. It had all sorts of bait fish around as well as some more Mahi for us! Wind was Southwest 6 to 12 knots. Seas 1 to 3 feet

Today we fished a full day. We headed offshore. We hit the hump to start and had some good tuna action. We then went looking for mahi. The mahi were still on the slow side. We had some west wind it made it tough. We still found a few, wind was southwest at 8 to 10 knots. Seas 1 to 3 feet

Went offshore today for a full day. Even thought the conditions were great, the fishing was a little tough. We managed to catch them though regardless. The good news is that I have the same guys tomorrow and we get another shot at it! Seas 1 to 2 feet.

Today we fished s half day. I headed to the reef to start but the current was strong and looked like it would be hard to to catch a snapper so we headed out a little ways and found some nice mahi! We found a few schools and then headed back to the reef and caught some nice barracudas! Wind was light out of the southeast. Waves calm

We took our charter guests to the Reef today for a half day trip. The Yellowtail #Snapper bite was pretty good, but the Sharks were bad and ate a lot of our fish! We still managed to get some by them. Wind was light and seas calm
