Fishing Report for Dec. 30

Today we fished a full day. We started off by catching some live bait. We then anchored down and caught around a dozen or so yellowtail snappers. We then had a great king fish bite. We also caught a nice mutton snapper. We tried for a sail for a little with no luck so we caught some barracudas on the way home. Wind was southeast at 8 knots. Waves a foot or less

Fishing Report for Dec. 29

Today we fished a full day. We started off by catching some live Pilchards as well as Cigar Minnows. We then put the kites up and caught a couple of Bonitas. We then tried a couple of Wrecks catching a few King Mackerel. After that we caught a handful of Barracuda..One on fly! Wind was out of the Southeast at 8 to 12 knots. Waves 1 to 3 feet

We’re BACK! Fishing Report for Dec. 27

Our first day back on the water and we fished a full day. We had great action all day! We started off with some Kingfish. We then found a few Mahi Mahi, one nice Wahoo and a Sailfish to cap the day off! Wind was Southeast at around 12 knots. Seas 1 to 3 feet

Bad news….

…our motor is blown and we have to get it fixed. We will be out of the water for about a week and will then be good as new. Fingers crossed Caribee Boats Sales gets it done fast.

Fishing Report for Dec. 9

Today we fished a half day on the Reef. We caught some live bait on the way out and then we anchored down on the Reef. We had a great Yellowtail Snapper bite. We caught our limit quickly. We tried for a Grouper but we were not successful. Wind picked up out if the North at around 16 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet

Fishing Report for Dec. 7

Today we fished a couple of half days. We started off by catching some live bait. We then tried for a sailfish. No bites to start so we went after some barracudas for some action which was a lot of fun. We then tried one more time and we had one on! We did battle for a while and finally got him! In the afternoon we started off on the reef to catch a little dinner. We caught a half a dozen yellowtail snappers. We the put the kites out for a sail. After about 25 minutes we had one on. Another big one! We did battle for over an hour but finally got it! Wind was out of the north at around 12 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet
