Fishing Report for July 28

We started out to fish a full day, caught some live Pilchards on the way out and then headed to the deep blue. We made it to about 700 feet of water and came across a cargo net and a bunch of rope all tangled together floating in the water. There were around 50 or 60 nice #MahiMahi swimming around it! I only had one guest so we quickly caught our limit and then called a couple of buddies over that were close to finish the job. Wind was light out of the South and seas were 1 to 2 feet

Today we had a full day and we ended up with a great catch, but I’m not going to lie, we had to work at it! We caught some live bait this morning which was key, but still they did not bite our live bait that great. We worked hard and caught out limit of #MahiMahi! We had Sam gaffing our fish today (watch out for the Shark!). Wind was light out of the Southeast. Seas foot or less

Today we absolutely crushed them!!! We found a bamboo log floating and caught all the #mahimahi we wanted. Nice fish too! We caught five of them on the fly rod to make the day even better! To top it all off on the way home we found another bamboo log that was also loaded with fish. We caught a couple but left it for another day. Wind was Southeast a 8 to 12 knots. Waves 1 to 3 feet

Fishing Report for July 22

Today we fished a 1/2 day in the morning and a 3/4 day in the afternoon. In the morning we started off by finding a good amount of schoolie size #Mahimahi of which we kept around 12.
We then headed back out. All the reports from the other captains were that they had not caught any fish for awhile – not good. So we tried for some Tuna to start and caught 5-6 Blackfin. After that, like a switch, we found more Mahi than we could take home! It was great! Nice fish too. Everything 4 to 20 lbs. Wind was light and the seas were calm

Fishing Report for July 21

Today we fished Russell Smith and his family and we had some great fishing! We found a nice school of #MahiMahi. After that we found what we call a 3 bagger (three big Dolphin in a pack). A 35 lb. bull and two 20 lb. cows. We we caught the two cows, but unfortunately the big bull came off next to the boat. After that we found a few more in the 10 lb. range before getting chased in by the rain. Wind was 12-13 knots out of the South and waves were 2 to 3 feet.

Today we fished a half day. We headed Offshore. We started off slow. We only had two ‪#‎mahiMahi‬ with about an hour left to fish, but we didn’t give up and we finally found a good school of fish! We caught all we wanted plus a few on the fly rod! Today winds were light and variable. Seas calm
