WAHOOOOOO! Today we started off by catching some live bait. We caught Cigar Minnows and Ballyhoos. We fished a lot of spots today trying to catch a Sailfish. We were lucky and caught this nice Wahoo with our first bait in the water! Dinner was soooooo good……Otherwise the day was slow for the most part. We caught a Kingfish and a big Yellowtail Snapper! It was a very nice day with light winds out of the North at about 5 or less knots and waves were calm.
Today we went Sailfishing. We started off by catching a well full of live Cigar Minnows and a few Sardines. Our first bite of the day was a Sailfish. Jason (15) had a n exacting day s he caught his first Sailfish! We also caught a couple of Kingfish and a couple of Bonitas before heading in a little early because the seas were so big. Wind was East at around 23 knots and waves were 4 to 6 feet.
Today we fished a 3/4 day with Tom and Chris Brady – long time customers and friends! We tried hard for a Sailfish, but we were not successful. We had a couple of Mahi Mahi, Bonita and Shark bites though and had a great day! Wind was out of the East around 18 knots, waves were 3-4 feet and water temp was 77.
